Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal activist and author who won several awards. Her movies comprise Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) and The Getaway ( 1972). New York was her home and she was raised in a creative environment. When she was an assistant to photographers She turned her focus to acting and modeling. Her name was highlighted in her two first films and was awarded the Golden Globe Award for Most Promising newcomer. The MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was an enormous success that earned the world to her and also an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. With just three movies she was the highest-rated female box-office star worldwide. Her handprints, autograph and footprints were immortalized in 1972 by Grauman's Chinese Theater. Alongside The Getaway Convoy Players she also starred in the television miniseries The Winds of War. Her autobiography Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw got married to three different people.
