Coleman was born and raised in the town of the Lancashire town of Blackpool. She was a student at the Arnold School in Blackpool where she was head of the school and gained straight As in her A-levels. As she discussed her Emmerdale character she expressed her regret at being unable to attend a college. Coleman participated in a club named In Yer Space at her school. They performed Crystal Clear in Edinburgh Festival. She won an award for her performance while the show was highly praised. Coleman, who was looking to audition for drama college in 2005, landed Jasmine Thomas' role in Emmerdale. In 2007 Coleman was awarded two Awards. Coleman received two nominations in 2007: Best Newcomer for the British Soap Awards; and the most Popular Newcomer in the National Television Awards. The British Soap Awards of 2009 she was nominated under the categories Best Actress and Sexiest female in addition to the category for Best Dramatic Acting. Coleman received her TV Choice Awards nomination for Best Actress. Steven Moffat revealed at a Doctor Who Press Conference on March 21, 2012 that Coleman was to play Matt Smith as the Doctor's Companion after Karen Gillan, Arthur Darvill and other characters left the show. Moffat picked her to play the part because she was the most successful in her interactions with Smith and could speak more rapidly than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She's been on the scene for more than 30 years, and has been involved in numerous TV and film projects. But she's had a greater presence on television as opposed to films. Eva's TV roles on"Dr. Maria Santos, in All My Children, and the role of Detective Natalia Boa Vista in CSI Miami make an impact. The former even earned her two 'Daytime Emmy' nominations and gave her a chance to explore her creativity in music. Eva is also an entrepreneur, philanthropist and the philanthropist. Eva has three husbands, and an infant from the third.
