Ani Difranco
Angela Maria Ani DiFranco - a Canadian as well as an American singer/songwriter. Her catalog includes more than 20 albums. DiFranco has released more than 20 albums. Ani Difranco has been widely recognized as an icon of feminist music. In 1990 she was one of the first artists to create her own independent record label. DiFranco was born on September 23, 1970 in the city of Buffalo in New York. She is the daughter of Elizabeth (Ross), who met Dante Americo DiFranco while studying at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her mother and father were both from Montreal descent. Ani diFranco composed and sang the song 32 Flavors. The track is part of her album from 1995 Not a Pretty Girl, which was DiFranco's sixth studio release. The song was featured in the soundtrack for the Canadian romantic comedy Better Than Chocolate, released in 1999.
